Mi wife and I were able to lift it up to place in our storage room. It got down to temperature quickly and so far is working great. I do wish it had come with another basket or even two. The only thing that is not too handy is if you get in the freezer and then try to re-open it. It has a strong suction on it that you can't pull open. It is a good sign that it has a great seal, so you have to wait a couple of min. before you can get it open.
