  • Cubes: Put the cubed squash in a microwave-safe dish, cover it loosely to allow steam to vent and microwave the squash on high for 3-4 minutes. Give it a quick stir, re-cover and microwave for another 2-3 minutes until it’s fork-tender and ready to eat.

Start by peeling the squash, then slice off the top and bottom to remove the stem. Next, cut it in half, scoop out the seeds, and then cut it into quarters.
